An Enchanting Dining Experience - A Perfect Blend of Atmosphere, Flavor, and Service We dined at 9 p.m. on a Friday, and the atmosphere was magical. Every table was full, with impeccably dressed guests creating a vibrant, stylish scene. The décor and lighting transported us to the elegance of the 1920s--an ambiance that set the perfect tone for the evening. Food Highlights * Crab Cakes: Absolutely perfect. The sauce was so incredible we couldn't resist soaking up every drop with the bread (sourced from Empire Bakery--love that they support another local business). * Steaks: We tried the Wagyu Filet and the Wagyu New York Strip. Both were excellent, but the filet stole the show--it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. * Sides: * The signature potatoes au gratin were flawlessly prepared--rich, creamy, and comforting. * The Brussels sprouts were my favorite. They struck the perfect balance--crispy without bitterness, and perfectly sized to soak in all the flavor. I'm not a fan of oversized Brussels, so these were a welcome delight. Dessert We finished with the coconut pie. I don't usually love cream toppings, but this one was exceptionally flavorful, complementing the rich, satisfying filling. A delightful end to the meal! Drinks The extensive wine list impressed, and the signature cocktails were fantastic. The watermelon martini was dangerously good--like drinking candy. I could've had several! Service The staff was exceptional--warm, attentive, and perfectly paced. We never felt rushed, and every smile felt genuine. The sommelier had a touch of that classic "wine guy" snobbery, but let's be honest--wine itself invites a bit of that! Ambiance & Dress Code This is a place to dress to impress and enjoy some people-watching. I also appreciated the strict dress code, keeping the vibe refined. You won't see obvious escorts here, which adds to the classy, upscale feel.

Amazing filet with foie gras demi glacé was incredible. It was so melt in your mouth tender...still thinking about it. Salad and crabcakes were yummy as well. Tried the key lime pie and white chocolate raspberry cake. The ice cream that came with both were odd and the texture of the coconut cream pie was odd. But the white chocolate raspberry cake was really good. It's been more than 20 years since I came here for the first time and it's still holds up. It's a Dallas classic for a very good reason. Highly recommend.

The service was the best part of it for me. Although we were sat 20 minutes after our reservation, I was understanding as it was truly packed there AND the New York Rangers were there. It's a dope atmosphere but a bit loud. Once we were sat, the service was great. Started with the steak tartare that comes with their house made sour cream and onion chips, which was the best I've ever had. Order the New York strip, and all 3 of our steaks were under, which they quickly fixed. While I was not thrilled about that, the actual steaks were pretty good and I just wish the sear and temp were right first try. We got the Mac and cheese which was well seasoned and not too cheesy. We got the mushrooms, which were fine but nothing to write home about. Lastly, we got the fries, which were nice and crispy and well salted. Drinks were quite good as well. Overall, I liked this place a lot, I think it would've been better had they not been so jam packed. 4.5/5

Service was better than the food to be honest. The blackened prawns were my favorite. The carpaccio was melted to the plate so it was hard to eat. The tempura was a little underdone to our liking. Shoestring onions were fantastic.

My husband and I came here after a business meeting and despite not having a reservation, the hostesses and manager kindly greeted us, and quickly seated us. Even though our most recent visit was on a random Tuesday, the place was abuzz with patrons. Our server was kind, helpful, and allowed us to enjoy our evening without rushing us through our service. My husband wanted a nice full bodied wine to sip on throughout the evening, and since I was torn on what to choose, our server brought over the sommelier to help us with our wine bottle selection. The sommelier provided thorough descriptions of the wines I asked about, but when I asked him for his own suggestions or recommendations he mentioned it would depend on my personal preference without much further guidance or assistance which was a bit disappointing. He even made a comment about pricing differences between the bottles we were considering which was a tad off putting since pricing wasn't the issue. I just chose the first Cabernet that piqued my husband's interest, and it ended up being a great choice. I also tried the spicy lychee martini which was very good and had the perfect kick to it without being overly spicy. We started with the classic seafood platter and even though the options within the platter were tasty, I do wish the crab cake that came with it was a little more firm. We opted for an off menu steak selection that was cut by the chef and served medium. The steak came with a buttery sauce that had a subtle smoky and spicy taste to it. Overall our steak was good but I've had better steak options before. We also had the lobster Mac and cheese, and the creamed spinach. Both side selections were great and I was impressed with the amount of lobster in the Mac and cheese. Al Biernat's is a firm staple in the Dallas area and rightfully so! Even though this experience didn't blow us away, we still had a great time and will be back due to the vibrant atmosphere and great food options.

Al Biernat's steakhouse exudes a wonderful old-world charm, not only in its décor but also in its service. Coming from California, where we are accustomed to excellent steakhouses in the Bay Area, we were delighted to find that the prices in Dallas are much more reasonable, and the service here far surpassed what we are used to elsewhere. A special shoutout goes to Victor and Rosie. Victor was incredibly attentive and made our evening truly magnificent from start to finish, inviting us to "take our time" and offering thoughtful recommendations. His care and effort elevated the entire experience. Rosie, meanwhile, ensured that our table was impeccably managed, clearing and packing everything with a warm smile. The meal itself was outstanding, from the appetizers to dessert, complemented by excellent wine and cocktails. If we lived in the area, this would absolutely become a regular spot for us. The highlight of the evening, however, was a moment that left a lasting impression. When my S.O. ordered "Flowers", I joked to Victor that he hadn't meant an actual flowers but the wine. To our surprise, Victor returned moments later with a beautiful red rose to accompany my red wine. It was one of the most thoughtful and heartfelt gestures I've ever experienced at a restaurant, and it's a memory I'll cherish with fondness. If we could give Victor 10 stars, I would! The restaurant's ambiance is just as noteworthy, with gorgeous fresh flowers, lush plants, and a mix of indoor and patio dining options. The bar area has a welcoming vibe, with regulars who clearly value the longstanding staff. Parking is abundant, with a large lot, valet, and street parking available. Overall, this was an extraordinary dining experience, and I highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Dallas, and looking for exceptional food, atmosphere, and service.

So this is the beginning of restaurant week and we are starting off at Al Biernats I will be having the crab and corn chowder and also having the Texas Wagyu cheeseburger and for a drink I got the Rose Cooler. The rose cooler is a refreshing has strong taste but good. The Chowder was Devine it was tasty full of flavors nice and creamy the waiter suggested to put Tabasco and it was a hit gave it a nice little kick the burger is huge and it has a great taste to eat the only thing that my pallet does not like is the sauce that's in it the flavor for me just does not work other than that it a very juicy burger. Overall everything came out great

Considering the number of times I have been to this location, this review is a bit overdue. Most of my visits have been for Sunday brunch and I have zero complaints regarding my experiences. For openers, parking is complimentary valent (remember to tip). Otherwise, if available, there is street parking in the area. For both arrivals and departures, the valet staff does an excellent job of ensuring the wait is kept to a minimum and they do in a very friendly manner. After completing the parking process, check in with receptionist always goes smoothly. Weather permitting, on some days they have a separate receptionist for indoor and outdoor dining. They have one of the best patios arounds that sits on the just off the entrance and provides a view of the parking lot. While this may not sound exciting, if you are into cars, there are usually a number of Bentley's, Rolls Royce's, plus other luxury cars coming and going. The indoor dining area is equally as nice and very spacious. Seating consists of tables/chairs in the middle of the dining area with booths along the outside. Add to that, they have full bar with seating. The bar is located immediately after the entrance and contains seating on both sides. All the staff here are spectacular and provide top notch service. Every server I've had has always been friendly and attentive. On my most recent visit, the server remembered serving our group ~1 year ago when we there as part of a larger group celebrating a birthday. He enthusiastically welcomed us back and glad to see us again (thankfully, we were on our best behavior that day and created a good memory...LOL). Be a large party or just a few people, the staff always provides excellent service. As for the food, top notch. As I mentioned, most of my visits have been for Sunday brunch and I never tire of their brunch menu. Everything I've had is always prepared per order, comes out matching the menu description and is always tasty. While my go to on the brunch menu is American Breakfast, I have also enjoyed the Crawfish Etouffee Benedict, Shrimp and Grits, and the Chilean Sea Bass. Their brunch menu contains a variety of items and accommodates many diet types. Lastly, they have a bar that offers a wide range of beverages including some great brunch cocktails, mocktails, whiskeys, and wines. Add to that they have some seasonal cocktails along with some signature cocktails. Thank you to Al Biernat's for always providing an awesome dining experience. I look forward to many more brunch visits and one day I hope to check out the dinner menu.

Came here for a work lunch with a client and from Entrance to exit the experience was great. They have complimentary valet onsite, perfect because parking is limited around the area. It was perfect for a business meeting and would equally be as great for a date night, or an evening at the bar located at the front. The hostesses and owners greet you throughout the evening and the waiters we had were excellent. I had the special of the day, red snapper and it was delicious but the sauce was slightly bland. All in all though great experience here
